I had a Sticky Situations plus contest

When I was little, (maybe 4 or 5 years old)  I remember my dad getting really mad at me for writing on the walls of our house.  My dad was such a peaceful and soft spoken man, so when he yelled and spanked me it made a lasting impression on me.

When my first son was about 2 years old, I remember walking in on him coloring on the walls.  I started yelling at my son and saying the same things my dad said to me.  Then I took a deep breath, smiled and shook my head.  Last month I walked into this Sticky Situation!

My youngest son was coloring on my walls.  This time I just told him "no" and he repeated "no" to me.  I said "no, we do not color on wall, we color on paper.

Then the next day, I when to the store and bought him a white board and white board crayons.  I want him to be artistic, just not on my walls. He loves coloring on his new white board and I love that he does not color on my walls anymore.  Also when he is finished coloring, I make sure to put the white board crayons away where he cannot get to them.

Our Littlest Pet Shop party

We invited some friends over for a Littlest Pet Shop Viewing Party.  My daughter and her friends like to watch The Littlest Pet Show, and we excited to see the new episode "Blythe's Big Adventure".

It is a really cute episode about a little girl name Blythe Baxter and she moves to the big city to live in an apartment above the Littlest Pet Shop. Blythe also learns she can now talk to the animals and they spend their time on fun musical adventures.  They also work together to save The Littlest Pet shop from going out of business, by hosting a pet fashion show.  You will have to watch the show to see if they success in there quest.

These are the Penny Ling Panda Cup Cakes I made for my Littlest Pet Shop Party. They are so cute because they look like little paw prints.   They also taste as good as they look.  Best of all they are easy to make!

This is what I received for my Littlest Pet Shop Party. Thanks you to Mommyparties and The Hub for the goodies.  Each girl received a Littlest Pet shop hair brush, lip balm and mask; not to mention we were able to watch The Littlest Pet Show's new episode "Blythe's Big Adventure".

A part is not a party without the food, so here is some of the food I made for our Littlest Pet shop Party. We had Penny Ling Panda Cup cakes, Chocolate popcorn and fruit dip. I made some fruit punch to drink.  Since we had our party on a Friday night I made some homemade pizza for the kids to eat too.

Here are the girls and their parents watching the new Littlest Pet shop episode "Blythe's big adventure" at my Littlest Pet shop Party.  It is a cute and fun show to watch.

Here we are eating some homemade pizza and other goodies at our Littlest Pet Shop Party.  After we ate our pizza I cleared the table and the girls made Zoe's edible diva jewelry.  The girls loved creating yummy jewelry with candy.  They all looked fabulous in their necklaces.

This is one of the girls showing us her Penny Ling Panda Cup Cakes. It was Yummy.

Old Navy Style Council: Dresses

Old Navy Style Council: Dresses

As a Member of Crowdtap I am so excited to be able to answer questions about what I think of upcoming styles.

Since I love shopping at Old Navy for the hottest new trends, I was selected to participate in Old Navy’s dresses sample share!  I also choose one of my friends to come with me to Old Navy to pick out our favorite dress.

Old Navy’s selection of dresses this season is more stylish that ever! There are so many styles to choose from.

First, I took a look at the dresses at Old Navy's website to see what dresses I thought might fit my style.  It was until I went to an Old Navy store with my friend and tried on some outfits and check out the styles that I realized picking out just one dress was an impossible task.

Every girl needs a black dress she can wear any where.  This is DJ walking the cat walk as she picks out Old Navy accessories to go with her classic black dress.  She choose a sparkly scarf and black boots to add to her black dress.

DJ picked out this simple Old Navy green dress, but she added the red blazer, green necklace and red hat to give it a more dressy day look.  This Old Navy green dress, and red blazer will be sure to get her noticed at work on casual Friday (red is the color of power).
I really like the feel of the Old Navy sweater dresses. They are so comfortable, and you can add any accessory to dress them up or down.

With these great Old Navy outfits we know why people are looking, because we look good!

I love this classy Old Navy dress I can wear it for a night out on the town with my hubby.

I may be a house wife, but in this dress I will not be cleaning anything but I would make a delicious meal for my friends and family.
This is my favorite look for DJ. I think she looks great in this Old Navy purple dress. I like how she added the black blazer, boots and necklaces. She could definitely wear this on any date.

Great minds think alike and we both picked out this Old Navy dress to try on. Each of us added our own splash of color to the dress with a scarf.

Check our our video as we share with you our favorite Old Navy dresses:

We had so much fun trying on different Old Navy dresses and pairing them with our favorite Old Navy accessories.  You don't have to wait, so get a few of your gal pal and head over to Old Navy for your own fashion show.

Now you have seen our favorite Old Navy Dress, go to your local Old Navy store,or check out Old Navy.com and find your perfect dress.

Disclosure:  My friends and I received a free pair of shorts courteous of Old Navy through crowdtap.  However the opinions expressed here are my own

My Marzetti Simply Dressed Simply Delicious House Party

As any of my friends can tell you, I love hosting party.  Even more than hosting, I love getting and giving free products.  Who doesn't.  That is why when I heard House Party was looking for host for their Marzetti Simply Dressed Simply Delicious House Party, I could not help but apply.

"Marzetti brand makes dressings, dips and croutons.  Marzetti's Simply Dressed® salad dressings are all natural, made with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and canola oil, which provides omega-3. And since they’re all natural salad dressings, they don’t contain preservatives, trans fat, high fructose corn syrup, MSG and artificial flavors."

My Party begin with me inviting my friends over for a night of Make Your Own Salad with Marzetti Simply Dressed salad dressing and Sensational conversations.  Once I had the guess invited, I turned my attention to the recipes.

One of the recipes I made was Grilled Hearts of Romaine.  It is simple to make, healthy to eat and looks great on a plate.

Since the Party theme was Simple and healthy meals I kept the decor to a minimum.  I just laid out the coupons and bags out for guest to see.
Here is a look at all the food I had at my Marzetti Simply Dressed Simply Delicious House Party.  We had all kinds of salads, stuffed mushrooms, and Grilled Hearts of Romaine.  I also filled the table with all kinds of salad toppings.

This is me welcoming all my guest to my Marzetti Simply Dressed Simply Delicious House Party.
Here is Little Man with me and a friend.  We are all sampling the delicious Marzetti Simply Dressed salad dressing.  I liked them all it was to hard to choose a favorite.   We also had so much fun eating and sampling all the dressing that I did not take any photos of my friends sampling the dressings.  I was so into trying the delicious dressing and making my perfect salad, I forgot to take photo of all my guest.  It is kinds of funny how each of us liked different dressings.

Here is all of us posing for a final photo with our Marzetti insulated tote bags.  Each guest was able to take one home, along with coupons and recipe cards.

Disclosure:  I received free products for me and my guest courtesy of Marzetti brand through House Party.
