My favorite Jeans: Old Navy

My Favorite pair of jeans are my Old Navy sweetheart cut.  They are so comfortable and fit just right for my curves.  They fit just right even with my fuller thighs.  They make me feel pretty and flirty with my husband. Maybe that is why we have three kids. LOL

I also have a pair of Old Navy "flirt" cut jeans.  They are really comfortable too but they sit a little to low on me and when I bend down, watch out if my shirt is not long enough (plummer butt).

Old Navy jeans also go great with any shirt or blouse.  They also are not to light, but also not to dark either.

I am only 5'2", so it is hard to find a pair of jeans that not only fit great, but are also not to long either.  Old Navy has the options of a long, regular or short cut (I wear a "short" cut jeans).

So why Old Navy brand jeans?  I have learned, trends come and trends go.    It is just not worth the time or money to figure out what is going to be stylish this year and what will be stylish next year.  I try to keep clothes in a timeless style.  I want clothes I can wear for a few years without feeling they are out of date and that is just what Old Navy jeans do for me.

I do try to add a few clothes each season from the new style, but I never go too far.  I have not added skinny jeans, they only add weight to you and I do not need to add any more weight to myself. I try to only add new styles to enhance my look.

I would be nice if  my jeans never faded or rip and all my jeans will fit me perfectly.  If there were no "skinny" jeans or "these jeans will fits me someday" jeans.  But until then Old Navy is the closest I can get to that idea.

Purex baby detergent review and giveaway

My Little Man is no longer a baby, but I have to admit I sometime long for the wonderful baby smell.  Now he is a toddler and smells of dirt and food.  Babies smell so good, isn't that why some people when they are holding a baby will take a deep breath in of that beautiful baby smell.

Now Purex as capture some of that smell in a bottle, Purex baby.  It may be made specially for babies, but it is good for anyone that loves that baby  fresh smell.  Pure baby detergent had the same great cleaning power you have come to know from Purex and yet it is sensitive on baby's skin too.

Purex baby is gentle on baby's skin. Tough on baby's messes.
Hypoallergenic
Dermatologist-tested formula
bright, white clean with a gentle baby inspired fragrance

Just like all of Purex’s current detergents their new Triple Action has been formulated to work in both traditional and High Efficiency (HE) washers. Purex will work with both top and side loading washer machines.

Since my family has sensitive skin we choose Pure baby.  Purex free and clear has a fresh clean scent without the heavy perfume smell because it contains no perfumes or dyes.  It is ideal for people with sensitive skin.  I like Purex free and clear l because it leaves my laundry smelling fresh and clean as a baby's butt.

I highly recommend making the switch to Purex laundry detergent.  I know my family and I are glad we made the switch.

Now for what you have been waiting for....

Old Navy Active-wear

It is a new year and it is time to stop putting off your weight loss goal.  If not having the perfect outfit to work out in is what has been stopping you from working out,  Old Navy has the outfit for you.  Old Navy has a huge stylish selection of Active-wear for you to choose from.

Since I love shopping at Old Navy for the hottest new trends, why not go there for my Active-wear needs too. Old Navy’s selection of Active-wear this season is more stylish that ever! There are so many styles to choose from.

First, I took a look at the Active Wear at Old Navy's website to see what I thought might fit my style.

Going shopping with a friends is more fun so I grabbed a gal pal and headed over to Old Navy to pick out our favorite Active-wear outfit.

We grabbed some of our favorite Active-wear outfits and took them to the dressing  room to try them on.  You can choose from Old Navy Active wear pull over or jackets.  The Old Navy Women's Active Compression Jackets have Thumb holes at the cuffs, breathable mesh panels at sides and back  and Reflective tape at back of neck.  They are also made of smooth quick
-drying tricot fabric with added stretch designed for peak active performance.

We even wanted to see how Old Navy Active-wear would stand up to our work out routine so we tried jumping rope while wearing them.  We also tried lifting some small weights while we wore our work out clothes.  Their Active-wear was put to the test, and it passed with flying colors.  Each outfit we tried was breathable and stretched to make our workout more comfortable.

As for Old Navy pants you have a huge selection to choose.  If you are like me and under 5"3, you many want to go with an Old Navy Active-wear Capri.  This way you do not trip over your pants, as you work out.  Whether you go for pants or Capris you will still have many different styles to choose from.

I really like these Old Navy Women's Active Tie-Waist Bubble Tanks.  They are so comfortable and come in different colors.  They are great for women like me that have a little extra around their mid-section.  They are made of  lightweight moisture-wicking tricot that is designed to help keep you cool during your workout.

This is the Active wear outfits that my friend and I decided to add to our workout wardrobe.  For my pants I went with Old Navy's Women's Active Color-Block Compression Capris in Ultraviolet.  They have a nice light fit throughout my hips and thighs making me feel slimmer.

Now we have some of the hottest new style in Active-wear to keep us styling as we lose pounds and get fit.

Disclamer:   As  a Member of Crowdtap I am so excited to be able to answer questions about what I think of upcoming styles.  My friends and I received a free pair of shorts courteous of Old Navy through crowdtap.  However the opinions expressed here are my own.

I had a Sticky Situations plus contest

When I was little, (maybe 4 or 5 years old)  I remember my dad getting really mad at me for writing on the walls of our house.  My dad was such a peaceful and soft spoken man, so when he yelled and spanked me it made a lasting impression on me.

When my first son was about 2 years old, I remember walking in on him coloring on the walls.  I started yelling at my son and saying the same things my dad said to me.  Then I took a deep breath, smiled and shook my head.  Last month I walked into this Sticky Situation!

My youngest son was coloring on my walls.  This time I just told him "no" and he repeated "no" to me.  I said "no, we do not color on wall, we color on paper.

Then the next day, I when to the store and bought him a white board and white board crayons.  I want him to be artistic, just not on my walls. He loves coloring on his new white board and I love that he does not color on my walls anymore.  Also when he is finished coloring, I make sure to put the white board crayons away where he cannot get to them.

Have you ever been in a Sticky Situations like me?  Well, Wet Ones has a place where you can share all of your Sticky Situations and find tips on how to deal with Sticky Situations, their Facebook Contest page!

Our Littlest Pet Shop party

We invited some friends over for a Littlest Pet Shop Viewing Party.  My daughter and her friends like to watch The Littlest Pet Show, and we excited to see the new episode "Blythe's Big Adventure".

It is a really cute episode about a little girl name Blythe Baxter and she moves to the big city to live in an apartment above the Littlest Pet Shop. Blythe also learns she can now talk to the animals and they spend their time on fun musical adventures.  They also work together to save The Littlest Pet shop from going out of business, by hosting a pet fashion show.  You will have to watch the show to see if they success in there quest.

These are the Penny Ling Panda Cup Cakes I made for my Littlest Pet Shop Party. They are so cute because they look like little paw prints.   They also taste as good as they look.  Best of all they are easy to make!

This is what I received for my Littlest Pet Shop Party. Thanks you to Mommyparties and The Hub for the goodies.  Each girl received a Littlest Pet shop hair brush, lip balm and mask; not to mention we were able to watch The Littlest Pet Show's new episode "Blythe's Big Adventure".

A part is not a party without the food, so here is some of the food I made for our Littlest Pet shop Party. We had Penny Ling Panda Cup cakes, Chocolate popcorn and fruit dip. I made some fruit punch to drink.  Since we had our party on a Friday night I made some homemade pizza for the kids to eat too.

Here are the girls and their parents watching the new Littlest Pet shop episode "Blythe's big adventure" at my Littlest Pet shop Party.  It is a cute and fun show to watch.

Here we are eating some homemade pizza and other goodies at our Littlest Pet Shop Party.  After we ate our pizza I cleared the table and the girls made Zoe's edible diva jewelry.  The girls loved creating yummy jewelry with candy.  They all looked fabulous in their necklaces.

This is one of the girls showing us her Penny Ling Panda Cup Cakes. It was Yummy.

Add a little Christmas decore to your bathroom or kitchen with Dial Complete foaming hand wash.

The Christmas season is up on us and we are decorating out house with all the warmth of the Christmas season. We have wreaths, ....  But you do not have to stop there.  You can even add a little Christmas holiday spirit to your bathroom with Dial Complete foaming hand wash.  Their limited editions holiday designs are a great way to add the holiday decor to your house.      The holiday collection come in four cheerful designs; Santa, Snowman, Candy Cane and Holiday Scene.  Put them in your bathroom or kitchen to add the spirit of Christmas to your home.

As always these decorative bottles contain dial complete;s #1 doctor recommended antibacterial foaming hand wash.  The formula kills 99.99% if germs in the household setting while still being gentle on skin.

Here is what I think:

What is not to like?  I tried the Dial Complete foaming hand wash snowman pump and it is a cute and adds a little holiday decor to my bathroom.  I just love snowman.

As you can see it is so easy to use my two year old can wash is own hands and that helps me out.  What I love most is Dial Complete foaming hand wash kills germs that is why I am hooked on it. It also smells good too.
